The oldest calendar on record is the Ethiopian Coptic calendar which starts of September 11. Our Gregorian calendar started in 46B.C. when Caesar changed and added the months July and August (reminding us of Julius Augustus Caesar). September 11 was the equivalent of the “Feast of Tabernacles” of the Jews. John 1:14 says “And the Word was made flesh, and tabernacled among us…” giving us the hint that the birth signaled the coming of the KING OF KINGS to fulfill in part the Jewish feast.
